Deepavali festival symbolises the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance and good over evil. It signifies a new beginning.
🌺 Chinmaya Mission Melbourne invites all to come together to celebrate this festival. Joyous is the celebration when we come together as a community to celebrate this ‘Festival of Lights’. The team is excited and working enthusiastically to make this year’s celebration appealing to all ages. An evening filled with a lot of exciting activities.
🌺 Highlighted below are some exciting planned activities 🌺
🤲 Guided Community Pooja for Sri Maha Lakshmi (All interested families will be guided through a 16 Step Pooja of Sri Maha Lakshmi incl. guided chanting of 108 names of Lord Lakshmi)
🍴Dinner Pack - Selection of Indian Cuisine
🎯 Games and Activity - A number of stalls will be available for entire family to enjoy a few though provoking games and activities representing the festival of lights (Example: Mehendi, Diya making, Face Painting, Kahoot Quizes etc. etc.)
💃 Dandiya - Traditional Indian Folk Dance for the entire community to join and celebrate the victory of knowledge over ignorance (good over the evil)
