Shishu Vihar
The early years of a Child are when they are forming their ideas, values and personality and whatever they are exposed to between birth and seven, is likely to stay with them in adulthood. The Shishu Vihar (SV) program exclusively caters to the Infants (0-2 years) and Toddlers (2 to 5 years) and designed to run as a parent-child class. The Shishu’s will be opened to a world of epics and tales all about the Gods and their quest to do the right thing. In this One hour class, we will also sing along, play games, do yoga and work together on activities to make it fun and enjoyable. SV provides the perfect environment where parents can work along to instill devotion and love for GOD, values and culture in children. Embark with us on this wonderful spiritual journey!
Bala Vihar
The Bala Vihar program consists of engaging classes, organised by age-group, to guide primary school students as they grow and bloom into young individuals. Through dynamic, stimulating and unique activities, Bala Vihar enhances the overall development of children at all levels: physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. The classes help cultivate values and life skills, equipping these young minds to remain resilient, focused, ambitious and compassionate in the face of challenges.
Junior CHYK
The Junior CHYK (Chinmaya Yuva Kendra) program provides teenagers with an opportunity to engage with Hindu philosophy, understanding its value and application in today’s contemporary world. It prepares teenagers for life’s adversities as they learn to tap into their inner, infinite potential, resulting in dynamic young women and men of integrity. These discussion-based classes are also a great way to connect with other enthusiastic youths and form a supportive, spiritually-inclined community.
Bhagavad Gita for Adults
These classes run by Swami Shrikarananda offer spiritual knowledge and guidance in structured, coherent study classes. Swamiji will lead you through the Bhagavad Gita in a practical and interactive way. Satsang, or the company of like-minded seekers, is extolled in all Hindu scriptures and these classes create this common bond of people treading the path towards a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
