Ganesh Visarjan

Come and join us for the auspicious and joyous occasion of Ganesh Visarjan, as we take Ganeshji to Ruffey Lake Park and submerge him in the Lake.
The festivities will start in the Dham with some bhajans and a short pooja and we will all then drive to the Ruffey Lake Park (15 mins from Dham). Amidst the chanting, bhajans and dancing there will be opportunities to carry the palanquin with Lord Ganesh on it.
Date: Sunday 27th Aug 2017
Time:
– 11.15am -12pm: Pooja at the Chinmaya Dham (4, Pioneer Drive, Templestowe)
– 12 noon – 2pm: Visarjan at Ruffey Lake Park (The Boulevarde Entrance via George st, Doncaster)
Program: Pooja, Ratha Yatra, Immersion at Ruffey Lake Park, Prasad.

Note: Council allows only one idol for visarjan at lake, which will be the one from Ashram.
