This week all the
children (introductory, junior, senior balavihar and Junior Chyks) had a
combined class. We practised the song about how we all can work together to
make the world a better place. We also practised the bhajan on Gurudev. We then
practised the skit with music and all the props.
Homework: To
practise the bhajan with actions. To practise singing the song with actions. To
practise their dialogues/role for the skit with actions and expressions.
Adults:
This week we
studied verse 31 of Chapter 13. – “When he sees the whole variety of
beings, as resting in One, and spreading forth from That (One) alone, he then
becomes Brahman.” – In this verse it is explained that the multitude of
forms will ultimately be condensed into a singularity. All forms and names
ultimately spread forth from this singularity to become part of the universe.
An example given is that of atoms which through
permutations and combinations, create all objects in the universe.
