NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BALAVIHAR & HINDU SCRIPTURES SEVAKS/SEVIKAS CONFERENCE 2011
Sevikas and Sevaks from Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney arrived at the Chinmaya Sannidhi on a warm Saturday morning in November 2011 for the first ever National Balvihar-Hindu Scripture Sevak/Sevika camp held at Sydney.

The 3rd Global CHYK (Chinmaya Yuva Kendra or Youth) Camp (‘Take the Big Step’) was my first camp experience with the Chinmaya Mission. It was held between December 24, 2010 - January 1, 2011 in Coimbatore (India). Being relatively new to the CM family and knowing only a small handful of Yuva Kendra going from Australia, I was unsure of what to expect. I wanted to use the experience to learn more about the work undertaken by Chinmaya Mission and to enhance my knowledge of Vedanta in a different setting to my weekly classes in Canberra.» Read more
