After an early start, some inexcusably clumsy map reading, and a beautiful sunrise amid the morning mist, Sydney CHYK joined Canberra CHYK at Tuggeranong Public Library for the “Why God?” workshop taken by Br Gopal Chaitanya on Saturday 2 May 2009.

Chinmaya Mission Mumbai, under the auspices of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust, is conducting a grand "Shri Hanuman Chalisa – Chanting & Havan" (108 Shri Hanuman Chalisa Samashti Havan) on February 15 2009 which will be conducted by Swami Swaroopananda. Chinmaya Mission Australia (Sydney Division) under the guidance of Br Gopal Chaitanya has started a new chapter in Brisbane on 24th August 2008.

Guruji, H.H. Swami Tejomayananda (Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide) is a direct disciple of H.H. Swami Chinmayananda - the most progressive thinker and dynamic spiritual teacher of our times. Guruji will be touring Australia (Melbourne and Sydney) in April, and the programme for the tour is provided in summary below.

The annual CHYK camps conducted by Swami Swaroopanadaji are always a delight and one which us youth eagerly anticipate year after year. 2007 was no exception as we delved into ourselves to discover what it took to become a leader. The topic was “Win the Mind Win the World” and from the 7th to the 9th of December, the Candlebark Farm in Healesville was host to 80 CHYKs from Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Canberra.

Get up, go to work, come home, eat and sleep and get ready to face the next day. Everything you do becomes a chore, and life becomes an endless, monotonous grind.
