Seer and The Seen - Know The Difference!

This is a series of morning discourses by Swami Swaroopananda on the text "Drig Drishya Vivek - Seer and the Seen! Know the Difference".
Each morning session starts at 6.30am and concludes at 7.45am.
Spiritual seekers feel intuitively that the great declarations of the Upanishads are true. Yet how to live in constant remembrance of these truths remains elusive. This small philosophical text – Drig Drishya Vivek, - initiates us into the classical Vedantic methods of subjective enquiry by which growing conviction of these truths can permeate our daily interactions with the world.
As children we believe that the sky is blue. It is only when our minds are sufficiently developed to understand the scientific explanation for its blueness that our understanding is changed forever. Drig Drishya Vivek unfolds a method of rational, philosophical enquiry, by which we can examine our subjective experience of ourselves and the world, and gradually separate out that which changes from that which is the seer of all the changes. Learning to identify with the changeless Seer is the goal of all spiritual enquiry and leads to the state of Samadhi, which frees us from illusion and opens us up to new levels of joy!
This beautiful little text is logical, helpful and deeply satisfying to the mind. It also proves that very precious things come in small packages.
