Akanda Ramayana Chanting

In preparation for Lord Rama's Jayanthi (Rama Navami), devotees gather together to remember the glories of Lord Rama. This rememberance is for 24 hours. Devotees gather together and chant the glories of Lord Rama by reading the Tulsi Ramayana. Some benefits of doing this chanting are one is able to gain qualities such as Shama (control of mind), Dama (control of senses), Uparati (Ability to perform once own bounden duty), Titiksha (forbearance, bearing the pin pricks of life, onslaughts from the world), Shraddha (faith and sincerity) and Samadhana (singlepointed mind).
Also we will gain love and faith on the power of the Lord.
In the ramayana we hear a dialogue between Lord Rama and Hanumanji. Lord Rama asks Hanumanji when you went to find Sitaji and you had to cross the ocean and return safely, it is very impressive, but where did you get the prowess, energy, power etc to successfully complete this great task?
The ever humble Hanumanji replied that when I was travelling I had the signet ring of Lord Rama in my mouth and the ring had the name of the lord (Ram) inscribed in it and it was the power of the Lord’s name in my mouth that gave him the strength to cross the ocean!
For a sincere devotee, the power of the Lord’s name and his glories can make any seemingly impossible feat possible.
Jai Shri Ram.
Please don't miss the opportunity.
