It was Sunday Morning at about 9.00AM and devotees started flowing in to the Chinmaya Sannidhi Ashram to get front row positions to have darshan of the Rama Parivar in their new clothes.

The program was to start at 10.00AM. At 10AM the pooja began with Br Gopalji guiding the proceedings.

After a beautiful pooja and Abhishek. Br Gopalji invited the devotees to sing some bhajans in the glory of Lord Rama.

After the bhajans, we headed outside to the Sannidhi backyard and watched the Balavihar children and Junior CHYKs of Castle Hill put on a wonderful show.

The Balavihar kids showed off their fancy dresses, they dressed up like Lord Rama, Sitaji, Lakshmanji, Bharathji, Kaushalya mata, kaikeyi mata, Manthra, Ravana, Vanaras, Hanumanji etc.

Then the Balavihar children sang some beautiful action songs led by Sadhanaji and performed a Dance lead by Shubraji.

Having had our hearts thrilled with joy, the Junior Chyks gave a talk on what would have ramayana been if Lord Rama was Tamasic and Rajasic in nature.

They had given some thought provoking ideas and many of us could relate to us being Lord Rama with Tamasic or Rajasic Qualities.

We finally finished the beautiful Rama Navami festival with the Maha Arati and rocking of the Cradle. After which we took part in the wonderful Lord Rama's birthday feast.

We also got lots of gifts from Br Gopalji.
