Description:
These are morning talks by Swami Tejomayananda held over two morning sessions: Saturday April 5 and Sunday April 6, 10.00am - 11.30am. You have to register to attend (please refer below).
Many of us want to practice meditation but have questions such as 'What is meditation?' and 'How do I meditate?'. Pujya Guruji, Swami Tejomayananda, has put it very simply: 'Meditation is awareness of our Being, or being aware while living'.
To be aware of our Being is to be awake to the Absolute Peace within even while acting. Through meditation we gain the ability to remain centered in that Peace even amidst the most stressful situations in life.
Come and listen to these 2 uplifting sessions as Pujya Guruji explains how to prepare for meditation and the techniques of meditation which include:
- How to sit
- What to think of
- Where to place our attention
Not only will Pujya Guruji explain the above techniques, but he will go further to expound on the principles of meditation. Such understanding is rarely taught and gives seekers the necessary tools to independently progress in their Journey to the Self.
Please click here to register and pay online. Alternatively, you can also download the brochure below and complete the registration form. Please note that there are limited places, so please register before Friday March 28, 2008 to avoid disappointment.
Cost:
$75 for both days (subscribers), $85 for both days (others). $40 for per day (subscribers), $45 per day (others).
