Melbourne CHYK Camp - RESTART

From 4-6th of December Swami Swaroopananda conducted a Chyk camp ‘Restart’ for over 70 youth from all over Australia. The atmosphere, the activities and the knowledge gained were beyond what we had anticipated as the organizing committee. Much of this was due to the participants who enthusiastically took part in all the activities, from behaving like farm animals to breaking through wood.

Sundarkand Talks by Swami Swaroopananda

From the 7th - 13th of December 2009, Swami Swaroopananda captivated a crowd of over 400 people in Melbourne, Australia with discourses on Kishkinda and Sundar Kand of the Tulsi Ramayan. The atmosphere of this devotional portion of the text, where Hanumanji meets Shri Ramchandraji, was heightened by the bhajans and the Ramayan arati each night. The crowds were greeted with the traditional rose water, chandan and kumkum at the foyer and special Balavihar stall and competition was set up by the volunteers.» Read more

Lord Ganesha Comes to Brisbane

On the 9th and 10th of July 2009, Chinmaya Mission Australia (Sydney) Brisbane Centre held their first Balavihar day camp at the Chelmer Community Hall, which turned out to be a huge success. Over 30 kids attended the camp over the 2 days and many sevaks and volunteers helped out to make this a camp to remember. Br Gopal Chaitanya was the Acharya of the camp on the topic Lord Ganesha ‘The Success Giver.’
